CASE SERVICES RATES
CASE CONSPECTUS SERVICE
Flat Rate: $500.00
Attorneys sometime are very impersonal to their clients. They basically just pick up their clients file and in a matter of minutes start defending their client. The attorney does not take the time, or has the time to really get to know the defendant. How can an attorney defend a client if they do not know what happened from the defendants point of view. How can an attorney even get the time to know personally their own client.
Case Conspectus Service is a breakdown of the case from the prospective of the defendant. This is a good service to use for a defendant with a public defender or a defendant who has a attorney that does not speak to his or her client. This report is from the defendant to his or her attorney, and should be protected by client-attorney privilege.
A lot of cases are lost because the client does not get the opportunity to tell their full story to their attorney. This is usually due to very short interviews in court, and the attorney not taking the time for one reason or another to interview their client while in custody.
This report is a detailed report of the incident from the defendant to his or her attorney. This report includes the defendant telling of his account of the case, and most important it list the key areas of investigation that the attorney should look into to handle the case. It also included character references.
By submitting this report, it should reduce the rate of ineffective assistance of counsel because the attorney will know what happened from the defendants prospective and there will be suggestive investigative areas to look into. This report may also prove ineffective assistance of counsel if the attorney ignores this report and does not present a proper case.
MITIGATION SERVICES
COMPLETE SERVICE: $1200.00
Mitigation services are service that we provide to attempt to make less severe or intense the punishment of a defendant. Through mitigation we attempt to reduce the punishment by showing that there may be mitigating circumstances in the defendants life or history. These circumstances could be critical in understanding the defendants environment and upbringing. Most of these circumstances are created in chronological order to show the history of the defendant.
The prosecution always paints a picture of the defendant in the worst light possible. The defense attorney never seems to present the human side of their client. Mitigation services humanizes the defendant and shows a more positive understanding of the defendant. Mitigation is not designed to prove that the defendant is innocent, but it may demonstrate why a defendant acts and reacts the way that they do.
Mitigation may be very critical in the sentencing process in a case, or at any phase in a case where it is important to stress that other circumstances may exist that should be considered to understand the defendant.
